Mupomat is a small but growing interdisciplinary team formed by Dr. Emilio Pardo (Profesor Titular), Dr. Jesús Ferrando Soria (Junior Leader – Retaining fellowships La Caixa), Dr. Marta Viciano (contracted post-doctoral researcher), Dr Nuria Martín (Juan de la Cierva formación) and Estefanía Tiburcio, Cristina Negro, and Paula Escamilla (PhD students), with expertise in the coordination chemistry, use of post-synthetic methods and multifunctional materials fields. We are settled at the Instituto de Ciencia Molecular (ICMol), which has been awarded with a María de Maeztu Unit of Excellence. Our research lines include the preparation of highly robust and well-characterised metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) and their use in environmental remediation, magnetism and catalysis.
